If you know so many attorneys, I wonder why none of them have told you that jobs in the areas of law you listed above are essentially nonexistent.

Good luck with international law! I am focusing on interstellar law myself, but sometimes I wonder if I should have focused on something more realistic like interplanetary law.

Let me also add: OP will fit right in at most law schools. Unjustified high-minded elitism will take you far. All of your friends parents are attorneys? Give me a fucking break.

Dude, intergalactic law is where its at. Though I'm thinking about concentrating in unicorn law also

I would probably like to avoid Penn and Mich too.
Mich is pretty gay-friendly and Ann Arbor is rather quirky. Don't avoid. Visit and see how you feel. Agreed about int'l law - everyone's giving you a pretty realistic assessment.
