I have a 173 LSAT and 4.0 GPA. What are my chances to get a full ride to the following schools?

Thanks!

American University Washington College of Law
The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law
Duke University School of Law
Georgetown University Law Center
Regent University School of Law
SMU Dedman School of Law
The University of Texas School of Law
University of Virginia School of Law
William & Mary Law School

I've heard they don't give out full rides: do Harvard and Yale provide any academic scholarships?
Harvard Law School
Yale Law School

Chance for Rubenstein at UChi too (aka you have a chance at the full-ride name scholarships at every school except CLS).

And no, HY do not award any academic scholarships. HTH.

With a 173/4.0, you have the academic credentials to qualify for a full ride at almost any school you apply to. HYS don't do merit scholarships and you probably don't qualify for a Hamilton (full ride at Columbia) or a Rubenstein (full ride at UChicago), but people with #s similar to yours have gotten full rides at NYU, Penn, Michigan, UVA, Duke, Northwestern, Georgetown, Texas, etc. In other words, you shouldn't even bother applying to half the schools on your list.

I see your affinity for the south. Take a look at the people below with similar numbers. With those scores, I would knock off American, Catholic, and SMU. You'll get significant scholarships to the rest. From a cursory glance, it seems UVA would be a full, Duke $25,000 per year. Not sure of the tuition at Texas so I can't answer.

For the love of God, please don't apply to Regent with those numbers.

EDIT: or American, Catholic, SMU, W&M

I won't trash any of the schools on the list, but I do think it would be a waste to apply to American, Catholic, SMU, W&M, & Regent with your #'s. Getting a full ride will be the least of your concerns this upcoming cycle. You will have plenty of $$$ coming in from the T-14 less HYS, but I'm sure you will secure a generous grant. Congrats and good luck on an awesome upcoming cycle!
