3.4/ 163 Non-traditional

So...I am planning on relocating to Virginia for/ after law school and I am trying to decide what the most prudent thing to do is. My list includes UVA, GT, GW, W&M, W&L, and Richmond. I have some decent softs.

I was PT'ing in a range of 167-172 until a tornado struck my house and displaced me and my family two weeks before the test. My PT range dropped to 161-166 for the two weeks before the test.

I know I could get into Richmond with my current scores but I'd love to land at W&L or W&M.

I'm crazy to think that 163 is really where I am, right?

So you don't have an actual LSAT? Wait until you have an actual LSAT.

I'm curious as to why you don't have GULC or GW on your list.

163 is my score from the June test.

As to GW and GT, I just neglected to include them. I'm more of a small town guy. I'll have lived in Minneapolis for 2 years when I start law school and I'm not to crazy about urban life.

Then the most prudent thing to do is to retake to either get a better school or get more money from a lower school. Especially considering you underperformed due to things outside of your control.

TCR. You'd be going from WL at W&L W&M, etc. to T14 (if 170)

Part of the problem is that studied well for the six months leading up to the test and was in a place I wanted to be with a range of 167-172. However, this means that I have already used 40 of the 50 tests available.

There are guides/recommendations on this site for people who have used up a lot of the PTs already. Try the search function.

I didn't use the PTs in the 40s and didn't do any of the Bibles. I had been scoring 0- -2 on LG and a consistent -3 on RC before the tornado. I guess I could do the LRB and those test in the month or two leading up to the October test.

Should I hold off on applying to W&M, W&L, etc until after the October test? I'm afraid of an auto ding with my numbers.

I was already aware of that reality. I never asked "what are my chances".
