Transferring Question

Post by bballfreak56 » Wed May 04, 2011 9:16 am

At Pitt Law they do not announce class rank, instead they do grade bands --LinkRemoved--
So does that mean you can not transfer up to higher schools? Or does that simply mean you have to focus more on your GPA and less on your other classmates? Thank you for your help.

Of course you can. Schools will know what to make of your grades, especially Penn

you'd need about a 3.8 to do it, from a cursory glance at the site

You can't say with any certainty where a 3.8 puts OP in his/her class, other than to say "between top 2 3 and 17%" (assuming class of 2012).

Edit: 7/228 = 3% (not 2%). 34/228 = 17%.
