Hello,

I am a triple major chemical engineering, chemistry, and biochemistry

I am president of a professional organization and I'm in a fraternity

Ive had a couple research projects and I have been interning at an engineering company for two years

What are my chances for UT Austin, Illinois Urbana Champagne, and Duke? Im going to apply the day they accept applications next year.

Thank you!

Duke and UT will be rough as they prefer higher GPAs. In with money at Illinois.

With your numbers you have a shot at most schools outside of the top 6-7 (except for the ones that are GPA whores like UT/UCLA/etc).

Bk187 (or anyone else that wants to answer)

Are there any other schools other than the ones you listed that are fixated on GPA?

who cares? you can get into t14s that aren't - you don't need UCLA

For top schools I can think of UCLA/UT/Berkeley/Duke as the main ones and USC to a certain extent and Vandy to a certain extent.

You do have a shot at Mich/UVa/Penn/Cornell/GULC as well as pretty much the rest of the top 30-40 schools.
