3.56 GPA and 170 LSAT - Michigan?
What are my chances at Michigan with a 3.56 GPA and a 170 LSAT. I will have spent 2 years out of undergrad when I enroll in law school.
A worry of mine is that I retook the LSAT and got a 168. Michigan says that they only look at the highest score, but will the dip in score be a big deal?
Thanks!

Chances are pretty darn good, I'd say. The GPA is ~25, but the LSAT is decent.
ED if you REALLY want Michigan (and you still might get $s), but you'll probably get in RD.

So you took the lsat got a 170 then retook and scored lower?
It shouldn't matter but Michigan is pretty holistic.

Tough to say. Pretty borderline stats. Like the above poster said, write a good why? essay and a good PS.

I applied early and why michigan? as well as every other thing I could do to show i wanted to go besides ED and I got waitlisted. Similar stats as OP without second lower lsat. If it has to be michigan then definately ED, otherwise apply to a bunch of t14s and see which one admit you. UVA (RD OOS) and cornell admitted me completely randomly and michigan and the others did not. At our numbers, it is totally a crap shot, so apply a bunch of places and see what happens
Also dip in score probably is meaningless
