Unpredictable GPA

I had a 3.41 Cum GPA in Spring of 1994. Then in Fall 1994 my Quarter GPA dropped to 1.9. In Winter 1995 it was an earned 0.00. I dropped out of school. This was due to an untreated period of depression. I joined the Army. When I got back I attended another school with a Cum GPA of 3.0 and finished my degree in 2001. I am now in a paralegal certificate program with a 3.4 GPA and a 4.0 in all my core law classes. Which GPA would a 4th tier school give weight to? My current 3.4? My BA Cum of 3.0? Or a weighted average that includes all classes taken over the past twenty years? (2.44)

If the latter, what can I do with my application to convince an admissions committee to pay less attention to the quarters I was suffering from clinical depression?

Yes, I know this will come up in C&F.

Every class before you got your first bachelors. So, it would seem it will be the cumulative of all your classes before before you graduated in 2001.
