I believe your undergrad is from the US? That would be quite different as compared to someone whose undergrad is from India as well.
I think since the adcomms cannot make a call on International GPA's the LSAT requirement gets emphasized and probably a little bit steeper as compared to US undergrads.
You are right about Michigan, NYU and Columbia being international friendly as well. But even for them in case of a toss-up between a native and an intl with similar stats, I would tend to believe the intl would not get a leg-up.
