well i realized halfway through that statement that what i said was phrased a little oddly. back to what miracle said, i think with a 3.0 you might need like a 171 or 172 for UVA and it's harder to say for michigan since i believe they are a bit more holistic - so some people might get in with a 3.0/170 and others might not. it's a little less numbers based but they also have a limited number of ED seats

With your 3.05/168...if you're going to apply to Illinois, you should probably apply to ND. However, retaking and shooting for the T14 is probably TCR.

Does everyone else agree that with my softs, WE, GPA and a new LSAT of 170 I have a decent shot if I ED to the 10-14 ranked schools and $/$$ at the splitter-friendly 15-25 schools?

I got 90k at Illinois with a 168/3.3. I would assume a 170/3.05 would get a nice offer assuming good PS etc.
