As I was rethinking though, I had another question. UT is definitely my current top choice (just based on location) but I am very limited financially and don't want to take on much debt and it seems like it is a stretch for a full-ride there (or really any of the T14 schools). Is there a school that is more generous with full-ride scholarships that, if I was fortunate enough to get a full-ride there, I could at least negotiate with UT if I did not get a scholarship at UT.

I'm sorry for all my questions but as I think through my plans for attending law school based on your all's suggestions, more questions just keep coming to mind.

If money is a concern, I would blanket the T-14. A full ride at UT is not that unrealistic for you (and serious money is almost guaranteed). With your numbers and an early application I bet some of the T-14 might also bite in a big way and give you a lot of money.

With UT moving into the T14, would this effect my chances at admission or scholarships at UT?

Also, on LSN as someone mentioned, it showed people with similar scores getting around 90K in scholarships. I'm a resident in Texas, so would this effect the amount of scholarship (I guess what I'm concerned about is that those who are getting 90K may be from out of state so would the 90K scholarship be applicable to me?)

lol seriously, UT moving up is great and all, but it doesnt mean your admission chances will now be realistically any different.

that aside, 90K is for out of state generally, though i mean i guess they could offer a full ride to an in-state applicant (90K, i believe, covers all 3 yrs in-state tuition)

im a TX resident, and i got a bit over half tuition (i dont exactly recall, maybe it was 65K?), not the 90 :(

usernamer - I wouldn't be so confident about Northwestern, they might balk at the OP's reverse-splitter stats.

OP needs a good interview to have a shot.

True. Some are clearly ignoring the holistic approach most admissions offices use.

Is this a flame?

OP, if you are not a flame, you must realize that All your questions are easily answered by looking at lawschoolnumbers.com or even by looking at school's class profile/statistics.
