The way this cycle is going add UGA, they are right on par with W&M and are loving some high GPAs thus far (+ in state is easy and cheap)

whatever classes you take at whatever college you ever went to get factored into your LSAC GPA. Definitely do what the guy above said.CliveStaples wrote:Take summer classes online at a junior college. Correct me if I'm wrong but even if the classes don't count towards your degree they will still count towards your UGPA. For less than $1000 you could probably get 12 hours worth of 4.0 with very little effort over the summer. If I would have known that I was going to law school before I graduated I would have switched to an easier major and taken easy summer school courses.Anacreon wrote:Is getting the GPA closer to 3.0 worth $4,500?dr123 wrote:you could always take some easy ass summer classes to pad that gpa a bit

When the economy comes back the medians will come back down a littleAnacreon wrote:college junior (December LSAT taker)NorCalBruin wrote:What are you doing now? Are you working? How long have you been working?
Consider applying to NU ED. They are splitter friendly, especially to those with WE.
I'd consider taking a couple years off to do Americorps but by then schools will have probably raised their median-75%ile LSAT and I'd get locked out.

Re: Chance Me Please? (Extreme Splitter)
I applied UVA ED with a 170/2.94, not the first day apps open but pretty close, and got waitlisted. I also have above-average softs (Army veteran + 1 year civilian full-time WE in a project management role). Not saying OP shouldn't apply but it's not a lock, they seem to really dislike sub-3.0 gpas.luckyme wrote:1st day apps openndirish2010 wrote:UVA ED.
