It might not at Emory, but as a general rule there's some benefit to applying by mid November or so. I didn't apply to Emory (stingy ****ers wouldn't give me a fee waiver) so I haven't been following them too much this cycle and can't say for sure.

I have the same stats. IN at WL, IN at Emory, OUT at Vandy.
