It is late for alot of the top schools, especially for Berkeley, which seems like a good fit (with money). Email schools to see if you can get a fee waiver, and then there is no harm in applying.
If things dont turn out too well, listen to bill o'reilly and apply to all the top
Schools next year.

This. But if you're dead set on still throwing out some apps this cycle, I think you'd still get into the lower T14. Your GPA is a little low for HYS, so I hesitate to say any of those are in play except Harvard, even earlier in the cycle. But, it's hard to say. You might as well wait and give it your best shot next cycle.

Well, looks like the consensus is to take a year off. I applied earlier this month to most of the T14, so I guess we'll just see. Never really considered HYS, but if this cycle doesn't work out, I'll just apply next cycle on like Sept 1st or whenever apps start being accepted.
