Chances Please?? URM 3.7/167 Forum

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking around for a while, and I finally decided to ask for my chances. I know it's pretty late in the game, but still...

LSAT: 162/167
GPA: 3.7
URM: Black female
Top 20 Undergrad
graduated with honors, honor societies, etc.
Double Major: Mathematics and PSCI
Junior year abroad at leading UK university
Not much WE, but volunteer hours in the hundreds
Unique childhood/upbringing

Targets right now are Vandy, Emory, UCLA, and (possibly) UVA. Is it worth it to apply to more T14?? Thinking about Berkeley, Georgetown, Penn, maybe Stanford...? Also looking for a bit of $$; doesn't have to be a lot but it'd have to be pretty high ranked school for me to pay sticker over lower ones with semi-decent offers.

Any advice or predictions for the schools above would be amazing!! Thanks so much!!

Prob have a good chance everywhere but Stanford

and a a descent shot at Berkeley and Penn

I agree, as a URM and stats like yours you have a good shot at schools in the top 10.

Pretty good shot at CCN on down, probably good shot of $$ at 10-20 as long as you apply asap, settle for nothing less than full scholly from 20 on down

Aim higher. I'm a AA male (168/3.7), got into everywhere I applied from Harvard and Columbia down. (And I had applied in late December)

agreed with the above. with a 3.7 and 167 your targets are most definitely not Emory and Vandy.
