DEFINITELY retake. Don't take a 156 if you've averaged high 160s. Probably wait until October and have your applications ready to send off before you receive the score. Good luck!

I hate to say this, but your numbers probably won't get you into a school worth attending in this economy. Your best bet is to retake and apply early next cycle. The time you invest (1 year) will have a huge payoff if you score near your PTs - both in short-term cost of legal education and long-term earning potential.

I took the october test nerves got to me, then I took december and all went well minus getting killed on games ( I usually only miss 0-2, I missed 12). I have applied this cycle already but my pts were averaging around 167 with a high of 174 ( only time I ever broke 170). I am trying to figure out which schools I should focus on this cycle and If i should retake in February or wait until October. I wont be in town for June. Thanks.

I applied one year (three years ago) with a 3.16 and a 156. I'm fluent in four languages. I've studied in London and Rome. I had academic scholarships. I worked 25 hours a week during undergrad. I applied to:

Temple
Wake
Buffalo
University of Arkansas
Pitt
Oregon
Penn State
Lewis & Clark
Willamette

I was accepted at University of Arkansas. With no money. Rejected everywhere else.
