okay thanks.. i have a job lined up I'm just excited to go to LS but almost every way you look at it sitting out a year seems like a better option

Thanks :D These comments definitely give some backup to what my mindset is at the moment. My parents (like many others I'm sure) think my numbers are amazing and the choice to take time off is insane; where I think my numbers are simply average or slightly above (at least with the TLS crowd). They aren't too happy when i "downplay my achievements." No explanations have worked yet to convince them, but I'm rambling and it's beyond the scope of this thread haha. So I truly do appreciate the input.
