Re: 3.53 non-HYP ivy and 167/175
I think applying to extra schools would be worth the money. Don't wait for waivers though.

Are you URM? If not, you're very likely out at YHS unless you have great softs. Your GPA is a bit on the low side, but I think one of CCN should bite, so unless you like a specific school in the T-14, I think you should just save your money. YMMV though. Good luck mate!

Sorry about that, it means Your Millage May Vary. Essentially a cop-out so that you to decide for yourself, jajaja. With strong softs (and assuming they buy the gpa addendum), YHS is possible if you wait a year, but unfortunately still not very likely unless by "strong" you mean like Rhodes Scholarship/started huge corporation/wrote The Great American Novel. UVA and Cornell should be yours if you want them.agora139 wrote:non-urm, and strong softs, double major, and very legit gpa addendum. thanks for the comments! maybe i'll submit uva and possibly cornell?

I think you have a good shot at CCN on down with that LSAT, and it might be worth applying to the trinity to see if you get lucky IMO, but I think it is very doubtful do to your gpa.

thanks for all the advice--i requested waivers from the lower t14 (figured why not) and got one from uva, yay!
contemplating throwing one or two to HYS, but i think it's totally hopeless and maybe i should save my money. hmmm
