...any idea if +7 constitutes a big score jump? i know it is at Columbia; called them and was told that a addendum explaining the score jump would suffice for them to just consider the higher score if the jump was greater than 6 points....is 6 points a common threshold to consider the higher score? 7 points, fwiw, is statistically in a whole different scoreband (no overlap with the previous scoreband).
