Not 100% on this, but doesn't Cornell only have EA? Also, you're at their LSAT 75% but just below GPA median. LSP says 57% so I say WL/In.

Cornell doesn't have ED but you're almost certainly in.

Above/Below I wouldn't say it's a certainty.

Not 100% certain, but probably in, just barely.

OP, enjoy sticker.

LSN looks like 50/50 for WL or Admit.

I may be being harsh on your chances since Cornell is my dream school and I think my chances are pretty bad with a little better GPA.

LSN is usually much too optimistic in my experience, so that 50% is more like a 30%.

Yeah, I think it's because Cornell is the easiest t14 to get into that a lot of people on TLS give wildly optimistic chances whenever someone has numbers within Cornell's range.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. Cornell is definitely worth an app; there is no ED option; you stand a decent shot at getting in, though you'll almost certainly get hit with sticker; adding a few points to your score will significantly boost your scholarship prospects, but will likely require you to sit out this cycle (assuming you haven't been actively studying). And that's about all we can do for you.

If you EA, keep in mind how poorly Cornell handled the EA applicant pool last year.

I'd agree that it is around 50/50 at best for Cornell. Most likely you will end up at a T20 or so unless you go lower for a scholly.

I heard they held tons of people who usually got admitted.

But then again last year was a brutal cycle. Cornell raised their median LSAT for the first time in like 3-4 years? Their GPA median also went up by .07.

Pretty much the entire EA pool other than the scholarship worthy crowd got held over and didn't get decisions until late spring, after the RD decisions for the most part. Even then, most were waitlisted and were still on it well into the summer before they heard anything.

As posted above, Cornell held almost all the EA people over; I never heard back from them, but there were dozens of people who heard back well after the majority of the RD applicants. It wasn't that they held numbers that were probably not going to get in; a lot of people were at or above their medians and wanted to increase the chances of getting in, so they applied EA. But it doesn’t really matter. The point is mooted, given EA deadline passed.

To be fair Cornell got 50% more apps last year so they were probably overwhelmed and didn't know who to admit till later on in the cycle.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
