166/3.6
So one of my friends has the above numbers (166/3.6) and applied to George Washington ED (my cycle is mercifully already complete.) I was just wondering what people thought his chances were for acceptance, both ED and being deferred to RD. I'm trying to be really supportive, but I don't want to get his hopes up or be too negative and I honestly have no clue. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

I'd say chances are nill, especially ED.

Damn, ok I was afraid of that. I'll try not to be too enthusiastic when he brings it up.

He should get into Fordham, BU, and BC though.

I know he's applying to Fordham and I think BC. Next time I talk to him I'll ask about BU, not sure how crazy he is overall about Boston though (as in enough to apply to two schools there.) It's just been a difficult situation the last few weeks (we both had the same first choice, I was accepted, he wasn't.) I still want to be helpful, but don't want to be overly negative.im_blue wrote:He should get into Fordham, BU, and BC though.

Also every time I see a 166, I always want to say "Enjoy Emory."im_blue wrote:He should get into Fordham, BU, and BC though.
So yeah, enjoy Emory.

I came into the thread to make the obligatory 166 Emory comment. You beat me to it.rad law wrote:Also every time I see a 166, I always want to say "Enjoy Emory."im_blue wrote:He should get into Fordham, BU, and BC though.

Re: 166/3.6
Looking at LSN, GW's (RD) cutoff seems to be ~3.8 (median GPA) for 166 LSAT scores. Anything below that is almost a sure waitlist.CaliMizzou wrote:So one of my friends has the above numbers (166/3.6) and applied to George Washington ED (my cycle is mercifully already complete.)
