Chance for $?
3.79/168 was wondering if I had a legitimate chance at $ at any of UCLA/Vandy/UT/.
Weak softs though.
Also if I got into Cornell (big if) would it be worth sticker over any of the three above if I got a little bit of $?

I'd say no. The little money you might recieve from UT/UCLA/Vandy would not be worth the Ivy (lol) status and the more versitile job prospects. Its just me though.

Lol, well the Ivy status is really a nonfactor for me since it just seems to boost lay prestige if anything which I have no interest in.
I guess it's retake time. Time to get ready for the next cycle.

Would you need an Ivy law education as bad if you are already an Ivy grad?

I dunno. I was half sarcastic about calling Cornell Ivy too.

Booya had a story about an employer favoring double-Ivyness. I'd consult her to see what are her thoughts.

Well I wouldn't qualify as double ivy even if I got into an ivy t14.

You can have my scholarship if you come to UT.

Would they expect you to get into a better Ivy for the 2nd step?

On topic though how are my chances at Cornell/UCLA/Vandy/UT in general?

Looks real. But you are absolutely right, we need more pics to confirm.

I wish I had some insight, but I applied two years ago, and I was a splitter. My experience is probably irrelevant to your cycle. UT's numbers seem to be getting more and more competitive. Nonetheless, your stats are solid, and I suspect you'll have a successful cycle. I retook a 171, so don't fret if it comes down to that. It's worth it in the long run if it saves you $100K.

I've already answered this before but with the start of the real cycle I'll not answer to keep a bigger sense of anonymity.
Anyways anyone else? Chances?

Re: Chance for $?
The answer to your second depends on your ideal market. If you want to stay local, I suspect that any of those schools will outperform Cornell, in which case you should choose them even without $. For portability, Cornell is the clear answer.

Thanks - what do you think my chances are at all of the schools I listed?

i saw you say somewhere else that you are likely going to get waitlisted at cornell. i definitely think you're getting in there though.
that does not answer your question at all but just thought i'd throw that out there haha

If things go according to last cycle I think I have a decent/good shot but with my weak softs+ Cornell's applications+medians increasing...I'm thinking I'll fall below LSAT median and just at GPA median.

Re: Chance for $?
where do you want to work homie?
I think you are in at most of those schools, the money will be minimal. Can you get in state in texas after the first year? That might be a consideration.
