Explain why you don't want scholarships? Or am I misunderstanding you?tipler4213 wrote:It's kinda sad, but I wouldn't want any money offers if I got NYU. I would wonder if it was worth it everyday until my debts were paid...

Gotcha. For some reason, I thought you meant you didn't want any $$$ from NYU.tipler4213 wrote:B/c I EDed to NYU and would feel kinda dumb if I got offered some huge scholarhsip from a similar school.

Re: Predict my Cycle! (3.88/170)
These are very similar numbers to mine (3.96 and 170/167). I did ED at Columbia instead but I'm not really expecting to have much of a hope there. NYU or Berkeley would be amazing, but honestly I'm just hoping for Michigan or Penn. From looking at LSN it seems like law schools admissions are generally unpredictable. Obviously we have a good chance at 7-14, but people with just as good numbers have been rejected from every school in the T14 many times (or at least wait-listed).
Basically I'm very anxious about this whole thing and protecting myself psychologically.
Good luck though...maybe we'll end up at the same school

Good thing you won't have to find out and regret it once you have withdrawn your apps.tipler4213 wrote:B/c I EDed to NYU and would feel kinda dumb if I got offered some huge scholarhsip from a similar school.

No, NYU is one of the few schools that is very retake averse (they say they average), but I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. Your numbers look fine for them.Fresh wrote:Boom. NYU takes highest LSAT I believe?s0ph1e2007 wrote: IN NYU

Re: Predict my Cycle! (3.88/170)
People have said anecdotally that they can go either way (either treating an applicant like the average or like the highest), but I have no first hand info on this.czelede wrote:No, NYU is one of the few schools that is very retake averse (they say they average), but I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you.
