In a word, Yes. However, I don't think it is a sure thing since most west coast schools, including USC, put a greater emphasis on GPA than LSAT.dpk711 wrote:do you think I can get $$$ at USC? I'm an alumni btw

Sorry, I really meant the second C or N. Columbia is incredibly unlikely.dpk711 wrote:ED Columbia?? If I got in I might cry!!

Pretty good. Probably won't get money. ED would make you close to a sure thing.dpk711 wrote:Then tears of sadnessplenipotentiary wrote:Sorry, I really meant the second C or N. Columbia is incredibly unlikely.dpk711 wrote:ED Columbia?? If I got in I might cry!!

How bout Penn Law? what are my chances there??
Without it, you run the risk of a Waitlist - but Penn is just very WL happy overall. If you would rather go to Penn than Chicago, and about the same as NYU, then I would suggest ED-ing. Otherwise, it comes down to your own personal preferences. You'll get at least one of MVP.dpk711 wrote:wondering if I should apply Penn ED, thinking really hard... any opinions?
50/50 without the ED??im_blue wrote:You're probably 50/50 for each of Chicago, NYU, and Penn, so just ED to your favorite of the 3.
Yeah 50/50 without ED, better than 50% with EDdpk711 wrote:50/50 without the ED??im_blue wrote:You're probably 50/50 for each of Chicago, NYU, and Penn, so just ED to your favorite of the 3.
gosh, why is this decision so difficult??
For Penn do you think writing all 3 optional essays is important?im_blue wrote:Yeah 50/50 without ED, better than 50% with EDdpk711 wrote:50/50 without the ED??im_blue wrote:You're probably 50/50 for each of Chicago, NYU, and Penn, so just ED to your favorite of the 3.

important for RD to show interest, not important for ED since you're committed to attenddpk711 wrote:For Penn do you think writing all 3 optional essays is important?im_blue wrote:Yeah 50/50 without ED, better than 50% with EDdpk711 wrote:50/50 without the ED??im_blue wrote:You're probably 50/50 for each of Chicago, NYU, and Penn, so just ED to your favorite of the 3.
