0% of the general population likes Lindsay Lohan.

0% of lawyers likes Lindsay Lohan.

Doesn't seem underrepresented to me.

Dude, wtf is you doin'? Stop maybe? This is a pretty specific thread to be flailing around with an attempt at humor.

he has his answer.

if he breaks a 170, he is not hopeless for Columbia down. He'll need a 175-180 to have a shot at Columbia, 175 for NYU, and with the low 170s, will get into a couple of schools outside of Berkley. With such a score, I think Michigan, Virginia, Cornell, Duke, Georgetown and Northwestern are all 33%-45% bets.

On something that has to do with OP... does anybody else notice that the OP has a post count of 2 but when you click profile and then click on the OP's post history it only lists one post?

So this is justification to go hopelessly off-topic on every thread that has been asked and answered already?

Based on???
Columbia: http://columbia.lawschoolnumbers.com/st ... Cycle=1011 .
No non-URM outliers back this.

NYU: http://nyu.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0 ... Cycle=1011
Only one that backs this went to a top canadian school, & I'm not about to take that as evidence.

If it's possible, you're hearing this from friends? People who go to to the schools?
I wish LSN were mandatory. That'd be so hott.

I'm just saying LSN is a self-selecting sample. My testmasters teacher was a white dude with a 3.3 and a 170 and got into UPenn ED last cycle. The baseline people only rarely post their numbers on LSN.

If you mean candidates who are the most extreme outliers I actually think these people are very often on LSN. Certain schools list the entire range of their class (UChi and NU off the top of my head) and the lowest GPA applicants were definitely on LSN (though last cycle's bottom GPA for NU has since removed his info).

Thanks for the replies. So basically it seems that if I kill it, I have a long shot at CLS and NYU. And btw I'm a female, and I'm not URM. I suppose LSN is self selecting but I don't see why it wouldn't attract splitters rather than high scorers. It would be nice if it was mandatory. It's also worrying to think that some info might be fudged.

OP - here's something to think about. Not sure what your situation is or if you're just coming from undergrad, but work experience is known to make GPA matter less to adcomms. Why not take 1-2 years off and work in the legal field? That way you can also build some connections for yourself, which will probably make it easier to find a job coming out of school as well. You can also distance yourself a bit from your GPA. However, I don't think gpa matters as much as some of the people on TLS state if you beast the LSAT. Evidence: there used to someone floating around on TLS named minimao, search her out - check her GPA and LSAT score. She is the ultimate splitter - and she also got into NYU.

Bottom line: beast the LSAT and many doors will open - and it's totally possible for many t14 doors to open.
