This isn't nearly enough information to go on. What geographic area do you want to work in? What kind of work do you want to do?

The issue is that most law students don't think like that. They apply everywhere they can, and usually just go to the highest ranked school they get into. So if Georgia is the highest ranked school he got into, a Chicagoan will attend despite never having set foot in the south. Baffles me too.

Thanks for the suggestions. In response to the other post, I really have no idea geographically where I want to be. My current open applications are literally all over the country. I'm pretty open to anywhere at this point. As far as the kind of law, I really have no idea and I think it's fine to go in to law school without have my mind set on the type of law I want to study. I want to figure that out along the way. I understand that certain schools are better in certain areas of law, but I'm honestly not sure, so I don't want to make any sort of decision based on that.

I find it hard to believe you have no geographical preference about where you want to be for what could be the rest of your life. I suggest finding one, as your scores aren't good enough to get you into truly national schools, or even most strong regionals.
