Does having an Alumni parent help?

Postby sfgiantsfan » Mon Sep 20, 2010 12:12 pm

My mother got her Master's (in business not law) from USF (where I hope to go). Does it help to have a parent alum?

ITE I would not go to a school near the bottom of T2, even pre-ITE it was a risk (especially with a cost of attendance at nearly 60K per year, according to USF's website). FWIW having an alumni parent probably helps a little.

That thread has most of the TLS Jargon.

ITE = In This Economy
FWIW = For What It's Worth

Shame on the NBER for letting employers know they need to start hiring again.
