Here are my stats: 1 year good WE. 3.571 GPA from UW-Madison. 159 LSAT. Half-Iranian diversity statement.

Law school predictor gives me weak consider. Is this school even worth applying to?

I've already applied to a bunch of more realistic schools, BTW.

You're out. Apply if you really want to go though.

Look on Law School Numbers. They have a pretty firm LSAT wall.

I recommend a retake.

With that LSAT I really don't see it happening. But if you don't mind spending the money then why not? You miss 100% of blah blah blah.

Unless you have some amazing softs, you're pretty much an autoreject.

I got into 2 "weak considers" on lawschoolpredictor.com, with moolah, so I'm never one to authoritatively tell anyone that they are "out." So I guess my advice is this: if you have the money for the apps, then you just never know.

That said, I think the site generally does a better job than many out there and I'm a fan of it.

WUSTL is very conscious of their medians; with an average GPA and a (relatively) subpar LSAT, you're out. But if you can retake and bring that up to a 167, you're an auto-admit.

No, unless you retake and get a 167+.

I will say that having *one* number higher than the median helps tremendously at splitter-friendly WUSTL. If you could get your GPA (somehow) up to 3.7+ by taking additional classes *or* get a 167, that would obviously help you a whole lot. The latter would help you a lot more, but the former would still help you.

Just as a side note this corresponds to about what WUSTL lists as their percentage of minority students.

Not to nitpick but I am pretty sure that includes all minorities, not just URM's.

I guess I didn't take this into account, good catch.
