ED Georgetown?

Postby SHANbangs » Sat Aug 21, 2010 2:41 am

My stats are 3.35 GPA, 169 LSAT. I asked a consultant what my chances at georgetown ED were, and she said I "should" get in for the full-time, and that I had a very strong shot for the part-time. Given that it's T-14, this seems exaggerated. Should I be skeptical of her advice?

I don't know much about Georgetown PT, but as far as the full time goes it seems very exaggerated. Look at last year's LSN graph http://gulc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats. No one with your numbers got in.

You're below both of their medians of 3.68/170, so they literally have zero reason to accept you. You do have a shot at PT though.

I thought G-town's 75th percentile LSAT was 169?

LS Predictor says yellow/consider, and 40% at or below. Is that good or bad?

How much better is my chance at GW?

much. LSN says you're out with your stats at GULC - http://gulc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats - and probably in at GW - http://gw.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats

Nope - http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admissions/QuickFacts.htm

Much better chances at GW which has 3.77/167 medians.
