Thanks, I did check those websites out, seemed to have pretty decent spreads from past applicants in my category. I was looking for a little more verbage/subjective opinion via TLS. But I really do appreciate your reply, thanks!

I got into Duke with those numbers and two years work experience, and I'll be attending! I was offered a scholarship between 1/3 and 1/2 tuition, but that offer came through after my second LSAT score was reported, which was a 175. I think I would have received a similar aid package with the 173, though.
Definitely write a Why Duke essay if it's one of your top choices. From what I can tell, the admissions office definitely notices those things.

You might get WL'd at Penn or UVA unless you write very convincing "Why X?" essays about why you'd want to go there in particular. Otherwise, you should have a rather strong cycle. If you're fishing for $$$, you do need to blanket the entire T14, but you should get offered decent money somewhere.

Same GPA, lower LSAT (170) got me 54k at Duke, 42k at Penn, and 30k from Michigan, plus admission at Berkeley and Cornell (withdrew before finding out about any $).
Wrote Why Duke/Penn essays, plus a DS (not URM), 1 year WE at time of apps, 3 academics LORs from profs that knew me quite well.
Given your higher LSAT, you should be in pretty good shape overall. I would expect decent $$ from Michigan and Duke.
