I'm an in-state engineering student with a 3.75 and a 165.
I know I definitely have a shot at Texas, but how likely is admission?
Also, is there anything I can do now to improve my chances?

You're at both 25th's, so I would say moderate. The in-state helps.
Don't count on it, but don't count it out either.

2) retake and get a 166 (about 50/50) or 167 (near lock)

I had slightly higher numbers, but was out-of-state and got ding'ed. Could you retake? If you can go a little higher you'd probably be set! good luckkk!
