4.1/162...

Post by raeq63 » Sun Jun 27, 2010 3:15 pm

Ok, so I got a 162 on the June LSAT, and I plan on taking it again in October. My goal is a 166-168. I go to a top 75 public UG, so I'm not sure how much the gpa matters. What are my chances with my current score at:

-Illinois
-Iowa
-WUSTL
-Wake Forest
(any other suggestions welcome)

bump

I'm looking for good schools in the midwest (I really like NC and have heard good things about WF, that's why its on there). I'm looking to end up in either St. Louis or Chicago.

I too was a splitter, though with the high LSAT and low GPA... However, I can tell you from experience that the first three schools you mentioned were splitter friendly for me. I would think that, if they admit people with lower GPA's but higher LSAT's, then it would be logical that they would seriously consider other types of splitters too.

Can't tell you for sure, but I would think you have a pretty good shot... I would especially recommend Illinois, as they have not charged an application fee in a year or two, I think. Also, you might contact WUSTL, I was able to get a merit based fee waiver without too much difficulty.

Good luck!!!
