166/166/171, with a 3.53 (reapply?)

Post by burtonrideclub » Sat Jun 26, 2010 3:29 am

I took the June LSAT to try and get off a couple wait lists in the T15-18 range. Before I took this test I was pretty much set on going to my area T1 with $$$ (U of H/SMU).

I've seen mixed opinion on how schools truly view multiple LSAT's, I know it depends on the school but consensus seems all over the place. Obviously i know my 171 doesn't look as good as someone who got it first time around.

Id normally just use LSP, but it doesn't really account for multiple LSAT's. If I don't get off the wait lists, should I reapply? What would you rate my chances/scholarships at these schools.

Michigan
UVA (possible ED)
Duke
UCLA
Texas
Vanderbilt
USC

Do some searches by different years for people with multiple scores on LSN (keep in mind a lot more people out on LSN have multiple scores, they just don't check the multiple scores option when first signing up).

I had 3 scores (163,166,174) and a 3.56. The 174 was a June score. I was able to get off Vanderbilt and UT's WL with money (20k/yr at Vandy and 9.5/yr with in state at UT), but decided to reapply. Here are my results at the places you mentioned when reapplying:
Michigan- WL
UVA- IN with 20k/yr
Duke- WL (Duke loves GPA this past cycle)
Texas- IN with no money initially but they matched a lot of what UVA offered
Vanderbilt- WL

If you get into Vandy or UT off the WL with some money, I would consider accepting. You got a good shot at MVP and Duke, but you run the risk of being WL'd at all four.

Thanks, UT or Vandy with money would be hard for me to turn down considering before I got my June score they were both pipe dreams.
