You have a solid chance. you are at 25% for LSAT and about 75% for GPA. So I guess lots of people do not get in with your numbers, but a good amount do too.

EDIT: this is for Harvard. The other two are a black box, particularly Yale, but you have a shot at them too.

You won't get into Stanford or Yale with a 3.71. See http://yale.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats and http://stanford.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats. They highly value GPA and won't take kindly to anything below a 3.8.

You have a good shot at Harvard. Conventional wisdom suggests that the top three value elite undergrads and strong soft factors more than the rest of the T14. This probably has more validity when they're considering a student at the cusp of their GPA/LSAT spectrum like yourself. Either way, if it's going to happen it's going to happen with Harvard.

Depends a bit on the major. Hard science, math, comp sci, engineering, etc. majors do get into Stanford with those numbers fairly frequently. Not Yale, though.

Agree that Harvard is a very good chance, although Stanford is just as likely to bite if you have one of the above-listed majors.

CCN should all admit you, maybe with some money. Then choose some safeties among the other T14s and maybe a couple of T20s.

We're number twins and we share a math major. I'm thinking 50-50 at Harvard, and possible at Stanford. Not so much at Yale.

I would emphasize the word "maybe" - no real reason to waste the time or $12/each? My stats are way lower than his and even I shouldn't have applied to any T20s. Barring any severe abnormalities (or strong regional preferences), anything out of the T10 is a waste of time, most likely.... just my .02.

on the outside looking in at H, 50-50 is overly optimistic based on this cycle. a realistic reach though. Y and S are out
