Hi, I am a sophomore engineering major at a highly selective university in the midwest. I plan to take the LSAT in october after prepping all summer.
My school is on the quarter system where 3 or 4 classes is considered full-time.
undergrad gpa (17 quarter classes): 3.22
transfer gpa (6 semester classes): 3.71
overall gpa: 3.39 (I used law school predictor)
I am currently taking 5 classes this spring and I plan to take 2 summer
classes at my state university. What do you think I need to do? I want to
get into a T14 law school. Also, I have done lots of research in total quality
management going back to high school (more than 10 papers at national conferences such as MBAA and INFORMS).
Is this a significant soft factor or should I not think of it that way? Also, assuming my gpa does not change, should I be looking to get 175
on the LSAT? Thanks for all the help!

Re: chances for a sophomore
Take whatever classes will bump your GPA.
