NYU ED?

Post by Dr. Strangelove » Wed Mar 31, 2010 12:45 am

Say my GPA is ~3.0 by the beginning of my senior year- what LSAT would I need to send in an Early Decision application to NYU?

A 174 LSAT with a 3.0 GPA is a weak consider for ED at NYU.

Good luck.

I'm assuming you mean what LSAT would you need to get in? (You don't need a specific score to apply ED) But as for getting in with a 3.0, no one on LSN has gotten in with a 3.0 this year, the lowest GPA was a 3.17 URM with a 172 LSAT. You can check other years if you want.

Sorry, but CCN is most likely out with that GPA.

LSN shows 2 non-urm applicants in the last few years who got accepted to NYU with around that GPA. One had a 176, double major with Computer Science and Finance, and was in the Army Reserve. The other had a 174, a double major in english and philosophy, a masters in english and a PhD in Literature.

Probably is not going to happen. I would start considering MVP and NU, Cornell, and GULC. And you need to shoot for a 170+.

*sigh* Oh well. I saw that a 180/3.1 got in NYU off the waitlist.
I better make sure that my grades and LSAT are as high as possible...so maybe I can get in MVPNGC.
