Paralegal 1 year on an interesting lawsuit.
I applied to most of the top 14 around November 15th. I got in at Georgetown quickly - about a month. Other than that, I've been rejected at Stanford and held at Harvard. I expected all of these things, but I didn't expect to have to wait so long on the other schools. It seems my ilk are in an interesting spot - the low end of acceptance to the t6 (of course, every applicant probably thinks they are in an interesting spot). I have the feeling there are a lot of applicants with similar numbers. Looking at Columbia and NYU's numbers on LSN, I get the idea that if I had a couple more LSAT points I'd be in a really good spot at those schools. That said, what do you think my chances are there? Berkeley? Chicago? Especially given no response up till now.

i would say you have a decent shot and chicago and nyu but honestly i would not have too much hope for harvard and berkeley. harvard is well harvard and both your numbers are near 25th percentiles there, columbia focuses heavily on the LSAT and you are barely over 25th percentile there, and berkeley is a gpa whore. but anything is possible so i hope you get in to whichever school you want. can you do anything to bring up your gpa or your lsat score?

Nyu sends the purple envelope quickly for those she realy likes. The school has sent plenty of acceptances so far and few rejections. Take this as you will.
