Chances at schools I still havent heard from yet
So far I have been admitted to:
SMU ($$)
Loyola ($$)
UC Boulder (waiting on $)
Georgia ($$)
Indiana Bloomington ($$)
3.6, 164, non URM, quite good softs
Ive been rejected by BC and Notre Dame and waitlisted by Illinois.
What are my chances at these schools? (Applied in Nov)
UNC
BU
Texas
Emory
UC Davis
USC
ASU
UW Madison
Univ Washington
Thank you

ASU just got around to sending out decisions to Early Applicants on January 31st. So, if you're concerned about your status there because of the delay, don't be. According to LSN, an EA applicant has already gotten in with similar stats. In past cycles, it seems to be the case as well. FWIW.

I'd say not great odds (likely to certainly out) at BU, Texas, Emory, and USC. Decent chances at the rest. Good luck.eschilli wrote:So far I have been admitted to:

I'm also on the waitlist at UI. BU and Emory are taking pple with my numbers. USC and Texas are guaranteed rejects.
The school I am most concerned about because it is my top choice is UNC. I think I have a decent chance, because of my softs relating to public interest are quite decent.

I have been under review at Madison forever. I wouldn't be surprised if they rejected me. I am happy with the schools that I have gotten into so far, but I would really like to get into UC Davis and UNC.

From your list I have been waitlisted at Madison (applied in November) and your numbers are better than mine. Still no word from Davis (in-state) since going complete mid November. No word from UNC and I applied in early January.

So what do you think about my chances? I think I have solid shot at UNC, Madison, and Davis.millieb wrote:From your list I have been waitlisted at Madison (applied in November) and your numbers are better than mine. Here's how you answer this question. Go to lawschoolpredictor.com. Type in your LSAT/GPA. Read the results. Decide for yourself what you think your chances are. I'm not being mean here, but this is exactly what everyone else on tls will do; only they won't tell you they did that and then you will think they actually have some insight into what the adcomms at your various schools are thinking. No offense to anyone on tls, I do the exact same thing myself.
Good luck with your cycle. I think you are going to be just fine. You have a better LSAT than me, so I hope you'll be fine haha.
I think you have a good chance at UNC (although if you are out of state I think that hurts your chances) and Davis. No clue about Madison, check lawschoolpredictor.

I think UNC could go either way. Maybe you should give them a call and see what the hold up is? Don't give your name.

Madison and UNC are taking a while. They must be on the fence with me.mpasi wrote:I think UNC could go either way. Maybe you should give them a call and see what the hold up is? Don't give your name.

I would have doubts about U of Washington...i fear we are both on the outside looking in there. Perhaps some sort of intangible may take either of us over the top.

To be honest, I am not sure about the quality of Washington anyways. Their 'form b' was a little ridiculous as well.PlugInBaby wrote:I would have doubts about U of Washington...i fear we are both on the outside looking in there. Perhaps some sort of intangible may take either of us over the top.

You already got scholarship information from SMU? Nobody else seems to have. What did you receive?eschilli wrote:So far I have been admitted to:

Re: Chances at schools I still havent heard from yet
I really like SMU, even over the higher ranked schools I've gotten into. They are so expensive though. I really want an offer there that at least makes their tuition comprable to those other schools.
