My top choice school, based on my #s, is UT. I am finishing up my MS in Chemical Engineering at UT (with research and thesis) -- I am a TX resident -- and have almost four years of work experience.
My GPA is obviously bad -- I have a very, very good reason for this.
My problem is my LSAT...the only reason I have for getting 161 is that I did not decide to go to LS until Sept before the Dec LSAT. I realized a few months prior that my MS wasn't going to get me where I wanted in life and had been trying to decided b/n a PhD and LS...thus, not much time spent on the LSAT.
I have a diverse background: my grandparents were coal miners in WV, I am from a low socioeconomic class, first in my family to go to college, etc.
My PS, DS and addendum have been critiqued; I have been told they are excellent.
I have reasonably good "softs."
Thanks -- I greatly appreciate any advice!
