Can I get in????

I am an AA male
2.9 UGPA Psychology
3.8 Graduate GPA Health Administration
National Guard Member: Currently in Officer Candidate School
Active volunteer in AIDS/HIV organizations
looking to practice health related law or work in health organization as legal counsel
applying to NCCU, Howard, UDC, Charleston Law, John Marshall(Atlanta), etc

I havent taken the LSAT yet and I plan to apply to them at the earliest date for the 2011 school year

please tell me do I have a shot at any of these schools and please recommend any schools I should look into.

Without an LSAT score, no one can tell you much. Your GPA will probably not be an issue at any of those schools, but again, it really depends on what you get on your LSAT. I'd say you want to get an LSAT over each school's 75th percentile because your GPA will be under their 25th percentile.

These may help to give you an idea of what score you will probably need for the schools you are targeting. Unfortunately, only your undergraduate record is factored into your GPA determination, though your graduate studies can be considered by the schools as a 'soft' factor. Just plug in your undergraduate GPA and various hypothetical LSAT scores to get an idea of what you will likely need to score to have a good shot at the schools you are interested in. Some of the predictors account for URM status (under-represented minority status, which I believe as AA you qualify for, but you may want to double-check on this as I really don't know how exactly URM status is determined).
URM status will most likely help you considerably in the admissions process, but scoring as high as possible on the LSAT is still desirable.
