ASW Schedule 2018

Post by rachelac » Mon Nov 27, 2017 12:59 pm

Hey y'all!

I'm compiling ASW info for myself and figured it might be helpful for others as well. I can update as info comes in/when I get home and double-check my letters for those that don't have a website up yet.

YLS: 3/26, 4/19-21
SLS: 4/13-16
HLS: 4/6-7, 4/13-14
Chicago: 4/12-14
Columbia: 2/28-3/1, 4/4-5
NYU: 3/1-2 (I'll see you there!), 4/5-6, 4/19-20
Penn: 3/23-24, 4/7
Michigan: 3/15-17, 3/23-24
Virginia: 3/15-16
Duke: 3/23
Northwestern: 4/6-7
Berk: 3/15-17
Cornell: 3/24, 4/13
Texas: 3/1-2, 4/5-6
GULC: 1/25-26, 3/22-23
UCLA: 3/5, 4/8
Vandy: 3/16, 4/6
WUSTL: 4/5-7

Vanderbilt seems to be either 3/16 or 4/6 (they say more information forthcoming)
WUSTL is 4/5-4/7.

Good thread idea.

Not sure what exactly I'm gonna do as I'd like to go to all 3 of UVA/Vandy/WUSTL and such a thing seems impossible.

Thanks! I'm personally really disappointed it's not possible to do UVA/Mich/Duke, seems like poor planning when those are such overlapping applicant pools.

Cooley's is that same weekend. I'm really torn about which one I should attend.

If it's Cooley's Michigan campus, you might be able to swing both Cooley and Michigan. That way, you don't have to pick between the two.

Can we add travel stipend info into the OP post as well? Will help for those traveling for it to know whether schools will reimburse some expenses or not.

I'm legit elated that I have more than one of these to attend. On an unrelated note, I'll be damned if I can't attend Berk's ASW given I live *three blocks away* from the law school.

Will do as it becomes available! I don't think any of mine have given specific info yet beyond saying they have stipends, but I can double check.

Penn is 3/23-24 and 4/7

Also this huge crowding on the 3/16 and 3/23 weekends is really, really, REALLY grinding my gears.

To contribute, H is on Apr 6-7 and 13-14, with Harvard Intersections on Apr 5/12.

Have recent Y/S admits received any information regarding their dates?

YES. And the weekend after is Easter which I assume puts it off limits? So inconvenient.

I think the April Cornell date is wrong. I think it's the 13th.

Well I will definitely be at the 3/23 Penn one - I love Philly. Also planning on being at the Chicago Harvard and Mich ones if I get in

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
