Anyone know how much Berkeley gives you for your flight? And if they help with any other costs?
Thanks!

$300 is great! Were you able to confirm the dates as well?bamb00zled wrote:FYI I asked Berkeley directly, and they pay you $150 for in-state travel and $300 for out of state travel. Love their generosity
Does this only cover airfare or could someone drive and be reimbursed?bamb00zled wrote:FYI I asked Berkeley directly, and they pay you $150 for in-state travel and $300 for out of state travel. Love their generosity
Any word on international travel? I'm not too hopeful to be honest...bamb00zled wrote:FYI I asked Berkeley directly, and they pay you $150 for in-state travel and $300 for out of state travel. Love their generosity
Great Q... I only heard anything about airfare, but that's because I'm coming from DC. I suppose within California (or from Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, wherever else you could reasonably drive from) the $150 should be for train/car/plane/bus or whatever, since that would make sense and Berk is super sensible, but you should probably ask them.maracuya wrote:Does this only cover airfare or could someone drive and be reimbursed?bamb00zled wrote:FYI I asked Berkeley directly, and they pay you $150 for in-state travel and $300 for out of state travel. Last year it was airfare only when I inquired but it's worth asking.maracuya wrote:Does this only cover airfare or could someone drive and be reimbursed?bamb00zled wrote:FYI I asked Berkeley directly, and they pay you $150 for in-state travel and $300 for out of state travel. Love their generosity
