Attending Half Of ASW -- Does it look bad?

I have a full time job, so the fact that a lot (if not most) of the ASW fall on weekdays makes it really hard to attend as many as I'd like to. Even for my top choice schools (Columbia, NYU, Penn), I don't think I can take that much time off of work to attend the full events. So at least for NYU and Columbia, I'm planning on attending one day of each (since there's some overlap). Does this look bad to schools that might be scoping out my level of interest? Also, is that enough time to get a general enough feel for the school?

Scoping out your level of interest? Relax; you're already admitted! ASWs are for schools to try to sell themselves to YOU. If you can only make it for a day, just email admissions, let them know, and they will make sure you get/see everything they want you to see/take away from the visit.

Also, yes, a day is more than enough time. Sit in on a class and visit an apartment. The rest is icing. If the day you visit CLS doesn't include an apartment visit, PM and I'll show you around one if you'd like.

I meant scoping my interest in terms of awarding scholarships. :-)

No. Law school admissions is a lot like dating. If you show too much interest in a school, they have less incentive to court you with higher scholarship awards.

Your attendance at ASW will have nothing to do with any possible scholarships.

Eh, I meant my comment generally, in response to OP's belief that more interest ---> more money. I agree with the above poster that ASW has nothing to do with potential scholarships. However, when it comes to leveraging for more money, you need the play the game a little bit. That's the only reason I successfully garnered scholarships during my admit season.
