Dubler, Morrison and Ferguson are all awesome professors.
The cases are not the same - they're picked by the prof. Last year Ferguson did Palsgraf - is he doing it again this year?
Also, I know you guys were half-joking, but these mock classes are super non-intense. You should probably do the reading just because you'll get more out of it and otherwise you'll just be lost for 45 minutes, but it's all volunteer and the questioning is not bad.

Yup, I have to read Palsgraf and I have Ferguson. And while I get that its not supposed to be super-intense, ill still be scared shitless if it seems, even for a second, like I will get called on.imchuckbass58 wrote:Dubler, Morrison and Ferguson are all awesome professors.

You won't. And although I haven't had him, I hear Ferguson is super nice.julesm2200 wrote:And while I get that its not supposed to be super-intense, ill still be scared shitless if it seems, even for a second, like I will get called on.
I think I had Hemphill last year. Does no one have him this year?

Morrison. Actually excited for my first assigned reading in 9+ months... can't imagine what it's like for people who've been out of school for longer.

Good. I was starting to have horrible visions of getting called on & forgetting everything about Palsgraff I had read on the plane.MeTalkPrettyOneDay wrote:And although I haven't had him, I hear Ferguson is super nice.

So how's the weather in NYC right now, for those who are there?

Seriously, don't sweat these mock classes! You should read/skim the case just so you can follow along in the mock class, but you don't need to anything more than that. The mock classes are really laid-back... you won't get grilled.blue5385 wrote:Good. It's supposed to be low 40s or high 30s on Wednesday and Thursday. We got a fair amount of snow over the weekend, but it's starting to melt. If you're not used to such temperatures, pack in layers. Figure pants + shirt + layering sweater + a light/medium jacket. You may not need the sweater or the jacket, but at least you'll have them.Tofu wrote:So how's the weather in NYC right now, for those who are there?

I'm glad the weather is going to be relatively nice. One of the things I was really worried about was that it would be too cold in early March to walk around much, but low 40s is completely fine.MeTalkPrettyOneDay wrote:It's supposed to be low 40s or high 30s on Wednesday and Thursday. Don't be. I'm from Chicago and we have completely different definitions of what constitutes nice weather & cold.tomhobbes wrote:My God... So far, I've heard Ariela Dubler and Christina Burnett for Conlaw, Gerard Lynch for Crimlaw, and Heller for Property.somewhatwayward wrote:i have morrison at two as well.....didn't realize we had to read something until i read this thread, though. what classes are good ones to visit?
