+1 but 12:10pm EST. 'grats BTW! My head is still spinning, any idea how you're leaning? The miser in me thinks giving up Fordham aid is stupid, but the elitist snob in me can't justify giving up T14...mi-chan17 wrote:I got my email at about 9:10am PST.
Are you also a high lsat, low-mid GPA applicant?cdbanana wrote:Mine came in at 9:07 am PST

well, knowing people are being accepted via e-mail today, i assume that is their default method of notification for admittance. since some of us are at 'decision' it stands to reason that decision is something other than an acceptance, which the pessimist (and the wanting this ridic cornell cycle to be over) in me assumes is a rejection rather than a waitlist.lateforthesky16 wrote:good to know everyone! thanks and congrats again!
also: why is everyone so confident that being "decision since 4/14" means rejection? (I haven't been on this thread in a while, so sorry if I'm way behind here)

I'm in turmoil. On the one hand, I love the school I deposited at and I'm having difficulty justifying giving up aid there. And I liked it when I toured and all that. On the other hand, the lure of the ivy league is strong. There's just enough elitist in me to make this difficult.danidancer wrote:+1 but 12:10pm EST. 'grats BTW! It's not because we're at "Decision," it's because we got the same deferral letter and it looks like those who are going to be accepted out of this batch got their acceptances this morning. Fact is, the rest of us are probably either out, or on waitlist now.lateforthesky16 wrote:good to know everyone! thanks and congrats again!

Thanks! Yes, in yesterday via email. So psyched! Nice to see EA Deferral movement, even nicer to be in that group. Good luck to everyone waiting. Hopefully all our patience will pay off.John J. The "decision" was that they would keep us on reserve, just like the "decision" back in December was to place us on reserve.Thomas Jefferson wrote:Did the decision 4/14/2010 people who just got in actually go "decision" with getting in? I got decision 04/14/2010 weeks ago: about a week or so after being reserved.
Yeah that's what I had thought. But some of the people who just got in off of reserve make it sound like the 4/14 decision came with them getting in off reserve, not from being put on reserve.lawman2010 wrote:The "decision" was that they would keep us on reserve, just like the "decision" back in December was to place us on reserve.Thomas Jefferson wrote:Did the decision 4/14/2010 people who just got in actually go "decision" with getting in? The last round of admits have to deposit by this Friday, so they may be making a few offers once they see those returns.SilverE2 wrote:Is there another deposit day we should be looking forward to? Or are all Cornell deposits done?
