Anyone know if acceptances go out by phone call and rejections/wl's by email?

Re: Cornell EA Deferred Crew
I was kinda hoping they'd change the "EA complete" status message to ... I dunno ... something a little more appropriate to our situation. Oh well.

I've submitted my first deposit to Fordham and am planning to go there if nothing else pans out. I'm riding 4 WLs and 2 deferrals/holds.hykang wrote:It says, in your profile, that youre going to Fordham?danidancer wrote:EA COMPLETE!!!

oh thank Christ I'm not the only one whose EA STATUS COMPLETE resurrected today.
I just about died when I logged in and the little bolded print wasn't there.
Good luck everybody, and to Cornell: we who are about to die salute you.

Re: Cornell EA Deferred Crew
I hope they're not just yanking our chain again. It's so easy for them to change our statuses to EA Complete. It doesn't mean we can expect to hear back anytime soon. As far as we know, this could just be a ploy to appease us in hopes that we'll stop calling and/or sending LOCIs and addtl info. That is, until I see some hard evidence of a review happening (i.e. decisions being rendered), I'll keep my expectations in check. I apologize for the skepticism, but this wouldn't be the first time Cornell has issued some empty promises...

As of 12/14/2009 your application status is:
Early Action Complete Your JD Application is ready for review by the Admissions Committee. If your JD application was complete by the November 16 Early Action deadline, you should receive a written decision (Admit, Hold or Deny) by mid to late December. If your application was complete some time after the November 16 Early Action deadline then your application will be held over to the regular decision applicant pool.

Mine says ea complete 12/14. Which is the date I went dr not the date I went complete initially. Does everyone have the later dates? Or have some reverted to the true ea complete date they had origionally?

Yeah, I also have my original DR date.
In other news, I'm sending an envelope stuffed with $200 to BU tomorrow.

I never thought I'd be excited to see my status checker change to "complete" this late in the game. EAC 12/14.
