I don't want to feel like some second class citizen because I got in for different reasons than a traditional applicant. Any thoughts from current Hastings students?

Sibley I looked for a study supplement for the first time today at the library. They keep all of the study guides behind the circulation desk, and you can only check them out for a few hours at a time. You can't remove them from the library without setting off an alarm, and if you hide them, they will know who did it and will harass you to tell them where you have hidden them.

Ah I didn't realize it was a student. That's pretty nice. Now I kind of wish I hadn't missed the call.leftieash wrote:
It seemed like the student who called me was more just calling to answer any questions I had and mentioned ASD at the end. But I gotta admit... it was a nice touch.

I was hoping I'd end the week with some good news, but alas, it's raining in LA. Which most likely means no mailman today. SIGH.

Also got an email, from law prof and director of Pro Bono programs. A nice touch considering the elements highlighted in the email were the interests I displayed in my PS.

The main building has a small cafe, I met up with a friend who currently attends. People were super friendly and energetic. Food was not too shabby!calgal17 wrote:Hastings has a campus? campus food is always 'not too shabby' when you eat it once... it's every day that it starts hurting youskyhvm wrote:The main building has a small cafe, I met up with a friend who currently attends. Yea, I felt it was particularly relevant while being generic at the same time. hahaskyhvm wrote:Also got an email, from law prof and director of Pro Bono programs. A nice touch considering the elements highlighted in the email were the interests I displayed in my PS.

lol. absolutely--good thing hastings is downtown SF so there are plenty of options for food elsewhere once the cafe has lost its appeal.sibley wrote:campus food is always 'not too shabby' when you eat it once... it's every day that it starts hurting youskyhvm wrote:The main building has a small cafe, I met up with a friend who currently attends. I am starting to think more about Hastings. The more I consider my options, the greater my preference grows to stay in state.
How are you feeling about them?

I'll def. be in school in California in the fall....Hastings is up there on my preference list since it's a five minute bus ride from my apt. I want to stay and practice in SF.Veritas wrote:skyhvm wrote:haha exactly. Veri you're in Cali too right? are you considering Hastings?
