I got an email from them I pasted it below.

"Thank you for applying to Emory Law! Your application file is now complete. The file review process will begin in December. During this current applicant cycle files will be reviewed from January 4 through April 9, 2010. If you applied prior to our March 1 deadline, we anticipate having all decision letters mailed by March 31. Unfortunately we are unable to give decisions OR a decision status over the phone nor via e-mail. Please wait for the official letter in the mail. Application addendums must be submitted electronically via e-mail or fax."

C'mon, it's Christmas. Surely they're giving it away.

I have, but I submitted my app late September. I think I got my app received e-mail about a month later, and then just got the complete e-mail a day or two ago.

I submitted around the same time. I received an "App Received" email shortly after but still no "Complete".

Submitted Dec. 7, complete Dec. 14. Guess I'm the only one impressed with the quick turnaround.

You got a complete e-mail in October? I didn't send my Woodruff nomination in till early December, I guess that's why it took me so long to go complete.

That would be my guess.

Anyone want to make a guess on what the scholarships are gonna look like? I know the past two years they gave out tons of money, last year having a 166 was almost a golden ticket to a 96,000 scholly. Do you think they will give out that same kind of money this year? Do you think the threshold for that money will be raised?

I've asked this before, but Emory is my basically my first choice and I have numbers right in last years "sweetspot" so this is a question that crosses my mind about 57 times a day.

Just got the Complete e-mail as well. Received almost a month ago. This timing combined with their really awesome online status checker puts them really high in my book after hearing "yes" from georgetown and duke already.

Amen. I am wondering that as well. Hoping that my 166 and high GPA will get me one of those golden tickets!

Sure sounds good to me! A cursory glance at last year's LSN suggests that they'd started doling out decisions by this time last year, so hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out.

Agreed - I wonder if they do e-mails or snail mail?

jmo but i think it might take more than a 166 to get sick money @ emory this year. more people taking the test-->more people with high scores--->glut of applications (recession)---> you better bring it to get 96 grand.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
