Thanks for trying to help, however I called their office and they said I was not granted a stipend. I am upset about this as I have bought my ticket, but it's not the end of the world.

Here is my timeline for everyone else who may be wondering.

I went under review on 2/5
I got a call to set up a phone interview on 2/11
Had my phone interview with a 2L on 2/15
Accepted on 2/17 got my scholarship info an hour later.

To everyone else, I hope you all decide on attending Case. I will be there next year for sure.
Thanks for the details - puts my mind at ease a touch. Hopefully mine will go through as quickly as yours did - 159/3.29

possibly a hold and a phone interview to help them make a decision the second time around?

got in today with 15k/year, 166/2.6

very excited, first acceptance, and with the money it might actually make it worth it. Anyone know the terms on the schollies?

How long after 'committee review' did you get called for an interview?

Congrats to you. Frustrating to me. I've been in review for about a month now. This makes me feel very self-conscious about my PS and my LORs.

Don't get too worried about it... i got a reject from what i thought was an autoadmit, two waitlists and 4 holds before i got an acceptance. Odds are there is nothing wrong with your app, schools at this point seem to be waiting to see who else applies. i've gotten passed over as well at most other schools that i would also consider "targets".

However, that does put case at the top of my list right now, seeing as i got a WL at my number 1.

Congrats!!! I got 15K too-- it looks like you have to keep a 3.15 for full, or a 2.8 for 1/2 scholarship

Me too... even the same misspelling. Do you think emailing them to correct the spelling error would make them think we are totally teh sm@art3st? Or would it just piss them off?

Went "Committee Review" on 2/16. Yes mine was spelled correctly (for whatever it's worth lol). Case is one of my top choices so I'm hoping for good news soon!!

Just got the 'admissions newsletter' - the part of the subject line that I read was, 'Greetings from Case Law School and Welcome' - totally thought it was going to be some kind of email about my application. My heart skipped a beat for a minute... but, it's got some neat information about Black History Month.

Ditto. My jaw dropped for about a 1/2 second and then I realized it was not what I thought it was. Phooey. But glad I am still on their mailing list! There's still hope!

Case admissions called me today to confirm a meeting. I asked about the travel stipend, and they told me people above the median get the stipend. Now I know I am not in this category, and now am paying $285 for a flight that I thought would cost me $85... great.

Above LSAT median or GPA median? I would like to go visit the campus in case I end up taking my seat, however I'm not sure I can afford to travel there at this point.

Scholarship offer of 15/k year was sent one hour after the acceptance email.
Is this typically how Case has sent notifications out, with scholarship awards sent sometime after the decision notification?

If so, how long has it took for others who have been admitted? Is 1 hour the norm?

I got my scholarship email two hours after my acceptance email. I want to visit in March but it overlaps with our Spring Break

Part of the scholarship award terms:

8. Your continued eligibility for this award is also contingent upon your participation in scholarship-related activities, i.e. receptions, phone-a-thons, writing letters to donors, prelaw advisors and prospective students, etc.

What does that mean???
