Hofstra 2013
Today is the day ED (Non-binding) decisions were supposed to come out, has anyone heard anything? I would love to get my first acceptance out of the way, so this is really bothering me.

Hmmm, still says "File With Admissions Committee" as of 12/09, will check again later today. At any rate, congratulations!

My status checker was File With Admissions Committee as of 11/30 until it switched today...but I assumed that everyone would find out if they applied ED at the same time.

Earlier today mine said "With admissions committee - Dec 1st" and then when I just checked it said that I was in.

2.9, 150, URM (AA Male).
So I'm not that surprised.

It's a safety school for me, but with this competitive cycle, I might not get into a school I'm hoping for, so who knows, let's see!

Well, good luck! Deferred doesn't mean rejection by any means.

Re: Hofstra 2013
Just reviewed my application and apparently I didn't do it EA, so that explains why my status hasn't changed.

I've been waitlisted as well. 3.5 GPA, 150 LSAT. This was one of my top choices, hopefully March brings good news.

Does anyone know the percentage of job placement at time of graduation?

Congrats to everyone who got in. Hofstra is #1 or #2 for me. I would love to get in.

I have a question for the group - Why do you want to go to Hofstra?
I have been accepted there already, as well as other places, and am curious as to what everyone's reasons were for choosing Hofstra.

Re: Hofstra 2013
Has anyone that has been accepted receive any scholarship information? My acceptance packet didn't have anything in it and I was just wondering if it was supposed to come out later.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
