I think rankings are somewhat irrelevant in this case... The two schools are a country apart... First off, you have to consider the COL of Hofstra compared to Gonzaga... Median Salary is going to be much higher simply because it costs alot more to live in Hofstra's region.... I have not visited Hofstra so I cannot say anything about the area but I do think you should consider WHERE you want to practice when you graduate... This should be a deciding factor.... Does Hofstra's #100 ranking bother anyone? Does TLS' review bother anyone? So far, I've gotten into Hofstra and Gonzaga which tie in rankings with Hofstra's median starting income at 3x that of Gonzaga. I'm not sure how the rest of my cycle is going to turn out, but I'm curious to hear from the people that are seriously considering Hofstra's opinions about the seemingly sub-par attitude towards the school. Is it really that bad? Is it really in the ghetto of Long Island?
